1973 Action Printing Established

1976 Bindery services added along with higher quality press

1980 12,000 sq. ft. building built on Rolling Meadows Drive, 1st Web Press installed

1983 First 4-color sheetfed press, new bindery equipment, darkroom added with first expansion to round building

1987 Second expansion to Rolling Meadows building

1989 5-color sheetfed press added

1991 Third building expansion, bringing total space to over 50,000 sq. ft.

1994 Fourth expansion. Kolbus Perfect Binder and state-of-the-art waste paper recycling system

1999 Fifth expansion bringing total to over 100,000 sq. ft. and the addition of the following new equipment: Solna 4-unit Web Press; 6-color Komori Sheet Fed Press; Harris 755 -- 7 pocket Saddle Stitcher; a second Domino Ink-Jet System

2001 Addition of a state of the art Mueller Prima-Saddle Stitcher with automatic Make-Ready Controls

2003 Addition of the Fuji Saber P9600 Computer-to-Plate device, eliminating the need to output film, resulting in quicker turnarounds and higher print quality.

2003 Action Printing becomes the first company in the world to utilize CIP3 standards. We are now able to makeready finishing equipment with instructions downloaded from a file server and without any manual reentry of job information.

2005 Action installs a state-of-the-art DGM web press. The new press has the capability to produce four-color work with amazing speed and quality.
